The Paired Villas
A mirrored pair sharing a party wall, so each gets three open sides on a tight plot.

Parti
One house, mirrored, with the party wall doing the work
Two houses drawn as one mirrored figure about a shared party wall. Pairing them is what makes the plots work: the blank wall goes where a neighbour would have been overlooking anyway, and each house keeps three sides open for light and cross-ventilation. Both take their upper terrace as a pool, and both are fronted by a screen of blue-grey louvres over the first-floor glazing. The aerial shows the pair reading as a single composition from above rather than as two houses that happen to touch.
