Grey and coral set against each other so the corner of the block reads from the road.

One warm plane against a grey one
A corner site, and the massing is arranged so the corner is the front. One face of the block is grey and largely closed, the return is coral and carries the projecting balcony frames, and the junction between them is where the entrance and the stair sit. Splitting the elevation by colour rather than by profile lets a four-storey block hold a corner without needing a tower or a feature roof, and the projecting frames give the balconies enough depth to be used rather than looked at.
