Atasomanso Corner

A retail corner where the whole commercial argument is visibility, so the first floor is given to a double-height display window that cantilevers slightly over the pavement and is lit from within. The ground floor behind the colonnade stays as conventional shopfront and storage; the upper window is where the stock is dressed and where the building advertises itself after dark. Split stone faces the solid returns so the glazing reads as an opening cut into something rather than as a curtain wall, and the roof is planted.
